Who is this visa for?
Foreigners who wish to participate in charitable or non-remunerative activities with institutes within South Africa.
Eligibility Criteria
- Provide a statement which confirms the purpose and duration of the visit.
- Proof of sufficient finances.
- If the trip does not last longer than twelve months then a valid return air ticket is required.
Additional Requirements
If you are unable to submit proof of a valid return ticket, you may be required to make a deposit. The deposit will be refunded after that applicant leaves the country or after a permit contemplated in section 25 has been issued to the applicant.
